The three stages of Womanhood - the Maiden, Mother, and Crone. The Maiden symbolizes an awakening, new beginnings, a time of discovery. The Mother symbolizes nurturing and the openings of creativity, The Crone is a time of transformation and wisdom and often rebirth. I painted these women intertwined to represent how the stages are not linear, and a woman may move through these stages several times during their lives.
