Story behind the image: When I took this photo of the Greater Flamingo I was in a blind thinking they couldn’t possibly see us photographing and watching them through holes in the wooden structure. However, watching this flamingo, it certainly looked as if it had its eyes on us and was being very curious.
Method: Digital photograph taken with a Nikon Z8, and Nikkor 200-500mm zoom lens through a blind on the wetland of Saline Nature Reserve Priolo in Sicily, Italy using high resolution photography to ensure details are preserved.
