Resplendent Quetzal Female Closer, Costa Rica

$100.00

At one point, the male flew off, and shortly after this happened, the female came in closer to me, perhaps checking me out as I was checking her out. I love the soft greens that are on her breast and the scalloped tail feathers of black and white. Her head and back are a soft brown in order to blend in with her surroundings as she is sitting on a nest protecting her young ones from potential predators. I would argue that the female is just as colorful as the male, but in more subdued colors.

Resplendent Quetzal female closer (Horizontal format) 15” x 13.5”
