The Story: This spectacular wildlife photograph captures a male Green Honeycreeper gleaming with brilliant green-turquoise plumage as it looks alertly up and to the left from a canopy branch. Found actively foraging on wild berries beneath the soft, diffused light of a cloud-covered canopy, the bird's electric coloring stands out sharply against its jet-black head mask and the rich greens of the surrounding Costa Rican rainforest.
