The Story: This delightful wildlife photograph captures a companion pair of Brown-hooded Parrots perched intimately together on a mossy jungle branch just six inches apart. The Technique: Captured on location using a high-resolution Nikon Z8 mirrorless camera and a powerful 200-500mm Nikkor zoom lens mounted on a stable tripod with a fluid gimbal head, utilizing a wide aperture to melt the dense jungle understory into a beautiful, vibrant green background bokeh while pinning absolute clarity on the parrots.
