The Technique: Captured at early dawn using a high-resolution Nikon Z8 mirrorless camera and a powerful 200-500mm Nikkor zoom lens mounted on a stable tripod with a fluid gimbal head, utilizing a high ISO setting and eye-detection tracking to sharply lock onto the mammal's eyes under the low morning light before adjusting the grain in Lightroom.
