The Story: While journeying through the rugged, untamed landscapes of Alaska, I never could have anticipated the sheer abundance of delicate flora hidden among the wilderness. This vast field of wild daisies (Leucanthemum vulgare) was a magnificent surprise. Long before the meadow even came into view, the sweet, crisp scent of the blossoms carried through the air, leading me to this breathtaking blanket of delicate white petals nestled in a sea of rich Alaskan greenery. It was a moment of pure, unexpected joy.
The Technique: Captured using a high-resolution Nikon camera and a 28-300mm lens, this digital photograph is a celebration of natural abundance.
