Story behind the image: I find it fascinating with these Greater Flamingos in Sicily how when they rest their heads, they either have their necks below their body, or curled on top of their bodies. It is always interesting to witness animals in the wild.
Method: Digital photograph taken with a Nikon Z8, and Nikkor 200-500mm zoom lens through a blind on the wetland of Saline Nature Reserve Priolo in Sicily, Italy using high resolution photography to ensure details are preserved.
