The Story
An extreme low-angle perspective looks straight up the dramatic, swirling layers of orange and cream textured sandstone in the park's renowned "Wave" section. Crouching low after a trek through the undulating desert terrain, I turned back to discover this striking vertical alignment leading directly up toward a sharp desert peak. The Technique
This expansive geological study was captured with a Nikon D780 and 28-300mm Nikkor lens, shot handheld for while I maneuvered into a position to get the correct angle I was seeking.
