Snowy Egret, Bolsa Chica Wetland, California. I watched an egret that was on another land mass in the water instantly take flight and move swiftly to another area where another Egret had just landed. What commenced after that was a battle for the land for a future nesting sight. The first fought on the land, and then in the air. I was thrilled to be able to capture different components of the conflict.
