The Technique: Captured using a high-resolution Nikon D780 camera and a 28-300mm Nikkor zoom lens secured on a steady tripod. To pull detail from the dark night scene without blowing out the glowing full moon, I utilized a long exposure and a precise focus to keep the rocky jetty and the distant mountain horizon crisp and clear.
