Sandhill Crane, Freedom
I get very excited whenever I hear the call of the Sandhill Crane, the deep trumpeting sound that can be heard from a distance away. This always sends me on a search for them, which has various results in success. This particular crane was moving to another area across from the dirt road where I was standing to a feeding ground. Fun Note: Sandhill Cranes are known for their dance moves which occurs during mating season. Some of these moves may include deep bows, leaps in the air, and stretching their wings.
