Everglades National Park Photography Print | White Ibis, Light Peeking Through
About the Artwork
The Story: This captivating wildlife portrait captures the elegant profile of a pristine White Ibis foraging quietly along the edge of Homestead Bayfront Park in Florida. Spotting this prolific new species everywhere along the roadways of the Everglades, I was thrilled when a curious pair approached our afternoon resting spot near the coastal trees. As a wildlife nature conservation photographer, watching them meander through the foliage under a glistening canopy served as a poignant reminder of why we must preserve their wild habits and discourage the human feeding that alters their natural behaviors. Explore this and other rare avian encounters across my online [Shop Birds of a Feather Collection].
The Technique: Captured on location using a high-resolution Nikon D780 camera and a powerful 200-500mm Nikkor zoom lens, using a stable tripod to perfectly isolate the bird while transforming the dark green shadows of the background trees into a soft, shimmering bokeh.
