Great Blue Heron & Cracked Mud | Kaleidoscope Photograph, Avian Fractures
About the Artwork
The Story: Born from a period of forced isolation when wilderness travel was restricted, this vibrant kaleidoscope print explores the hidden symmetry of everyday objects and archival memories. I combined an archival wildlife photograph of a great blue heron's head with a textured shot of dried cracked mud from my travels and asked myself, "I wonder how this would work?" The resulting digital transformation reveals an intricate, mesmerizing geometry rendered in a rich palette of deep browns, forming a geometric circle that subtly embeds eight non-distinguishable heron heads within the organic desert textures to keep my creativity alive during a trying time. Shop Fine Art Abstraction Collection
