All the Faces | Kaleidoscope Photograph, Cryptic Cholla Matrix
About the Artwork
The Story: Born from a period of forced isolation when wilderness travel was restricted, this vibrant kaleidoscope print explores the hidden symmetry of everyday objects and archival memories. I looked at an archival photograph of a desert cactus and asked myself, "I wonder how this would work?" The resulting sharp digital transformation reveals an intricate, mesmerizing geometry rendered in dark greens, earthy browns, and deep blues towards the center, where a close look unveils an enchanting surprise of subtle face-like shapes peeking out through the patterns to keep my creativity alive during a trying time. Shop Fine Art Abstraction Collection
