Great Horned Owls, Staring Contest
The Great Horned Owlets staring at the intruder, Antelope Island, Utah. I photographed these owlets for about three hours. They were quite some distance up in the tree; this image is zoomed in and cropped quite a bit. If one were to look at the tree they were in, they would be hard-pressed to locate them. They had turned their attention to someone who had walked up behind me.
