The Story: Discovered during a dusk walk through the deeply shadowed, darkening pathways of Lotusland Botanical Garden in Montecito, California, these Silverberry leaves (Elaeagnus) provided a striking moment of natural brilliance. This fine art photograph captures the exact moment the last rays of sun struck the foliage, causing the metallic, shimmering edges of the leaves to catch the light and create a brilliant, golden glow.
