The Technique: Captured on a misty morning using a high-resolution Nikon D780 camera paired with a powerful 200-500mm Nikkor zoom lens mounted on a stable tripod, utilizing a maximum focal length and a shallow depth of field to crisply isolate the dragonfly's compound eyes against a softly blurred, atmospheric wetland canvas.
