Dried mud found in Death Valley National Park, California. I wandered through the sand dunes hoping I would be able to find my way back to my vehicle. The mud cracks and dried surfaces are created from previous storms that washed the sand into the gullies between the dunes. I sat on the ground to take this image of the clouds parting in the distance.
