Bison on the Ridge, Antelope Island
As I came around a corner at Antelope Island, these bison captured my attention. The line of their dark bodies juxtaposed with the white mountains in the background make for a dynamic image for your home. The bison have been on Antelope island for more than a century, and replaced the cattle that early ranchers were trying to raise. They are free roaming and there are currently about 700 head of them.
