Settle into the early morning mist of Yellowstone National Park and witness my encounter with a pair of ravens.
The early morning fog was still hanging in the brisk air as I photographed this pair of Yellowstone ravens huddled against the cold. The soft lighting and frost covered the nearby foliage creating a mysterious mood to the beginning of the day.
For those of you who have visited Yellowstone National Park, you understand how prevalent these Corvids can be, and to capture them in such an intimate moment in the misty morning, gives me, as a wildlife photographer, immense joy. Bird photography, hands down, is what I strive to capture, and when I can capture this type of behavioral photography I feel as if I am doing it right.
