Quiet magic surrounded us as we explored Fremont Island in Great Salt Lake. This heart-shaped metamorphic rock called to be photographed as we started our journey uphill. We were surprised by what we found on this day of exploring the island. We were greeted with greenery, cactus, lots of very small magenta flowers, sage brush, and other plants covering the ground with ancient metaphoric rocks just peeking though.
