Peaceful and calm on the windy shores of Fremont Island, Great Salt Lake.
As we neared the shore, we realized the airboats were not going to be able to pull into where we were headed because of the quarter-mile muddy shore. We detoured towards a small outcropping of rock that was next to the water. As we neared, they pulled into view, and we signaled them with our hiking poles.
I’m passionate about preserving rare, timeless moments in the wild, and this piece will become a historical piece for generations to come. Will we still have Great Salt Lake in the future? This would be a perfect piece for those of you who want to retain a piece of history, or those of you who love iconic nature scenes with humans interacting.
