About the Artwork
The Story
An American Pika sits peacefully in profile, basking in the warm sunlight across the rugged high-altitude terrain. This resilient, climate-threatened mammal caught my eye during a trek originally intended for mountain goats, prompting a return trip the following day to document its behavior. Bring this intimate wilderness moment into your space by exploring the [Shop Fine Art Wildlife Collection].

This sharp profile was captured with a Nikon Z8 and 200-500mm Nikkor zoom lens, stabilized on a tripod with a fluid gimbal head during bright, clear daylight conditions.
